January’s Wolf Moon -> The New is calling

January’s Moon is called the Wolf Moon and also known as the Renewal Moon. It is the great awakener and instigator of sudden changes. In terms of manifestation and personal empowerment, we are offered a magical window of opportunity to focus our minds on the kind of connections and negotiations that we will need to create to find solutions to the challenges that we face both individually and in our relationships with others.

Wolf Medicine

Wolf is the pathfinder, the forerunner of new ideas who returns to the clan to teach and share medicine. Wolf is very loyal, has a strong sense of family as well as individualistic urge. Strategic, resourceful and incredibly communicative, the Wolf is a noble mentor for humankind. Wolves have specific protocol and rank within their packs. This observation is a cue to look to community for creative solutions during this full moon. Communicate with those in your pack to help you with your challenges.

The Moon and the Stars

The New Moon, on the 13th aligns with Pluto, the planet of transformation, change and rebirth. They form an intense relationship with Mars and Uranus. The energy of the New Moon will always call us to sow seeds and create new beginnings and these powerful and dynamic connections have the potential to create situations that challenge us, but for a purpose. This will highlight any outdated views and perceptions that no longer serve us.

On the 19th the Sun enters Aquarius. This energy will help us focus on ways to manifest our personal hopes, aspirations, dreams, and desires. Seek out those whose values align with your own. Collaboration will be needed to support the actions necessary to become an active participant in this year of change & renewal. Tap into the wolf’s medicine of resourcefulness, communication, and social connection.

Moving into the Full Moon on the 28th in Leo, the pressure is building. Structures may crumble...the new is calling, whether we like it or not! Leo and the Wolf, represents confidence and leadership. So regardless of what transpires, stand firm in your confidence and move forward in alignment with what you know the Creator has called you to do. Wolf medicine provides sharp intelligence, a deep connection with instincts and an appetite for freedom. Be mindful of any areas that may seem to pattern in conflict. This is nature’s time to highlight imbalances so we can take action to release and break free from that which no longer serves us.

As Mercury moves into retrograde on the 30th we are called to reflect and review. If disruption occurs, and difficulties arise, trust that a delay can retrospectively prove to be beneficial...even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time. Wolf’s medicine of keen intelligence and intuition will be immensely beneficial during this time.

While circumstances and events that are out of our control clearly do take place around us, we must acknowledge that nothing is set in stone. We have choices in the way in which we respond to situations and as such we are active participants in the making of our own destiny.

What we think, speak and do IS actively creating our reality. Much may be revealed to us over the next few weeks, both individually and within our relationships with others. However challenging this may be, we are being shown our personal pathway that brings the transition into new beginnings. The New is calling. Change and renewal ARE on the horizon. Pay close attention to what manifests over the month; use wisdom, grace, and Wolf Medicine to act accordingly!
