First Responder Organizations Unite to Raise Scholarship Funds for our Heroes
Back the Blue Illinois is excited to announce its partnership with Finding HOPE Therapeutic Riding Center Inc. to provide therapeutic, educational, and wellness equine assisted activities for first responders.
Please join us for our first gala to raise scholarship funds for our local first responders and their families! Our goal is to provide programs at no charge to the participants!
Horses 4 Heroes 911 Memorial Gala benefiting Finding HOPE Therapeutic Riding Center Inc. will take place on September 11, 2021 to honor the 20th year remembrance of 911 at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, Illinois. This event will have a formal dinner, live music and entertainment by Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos, and a reverse $5,000 give-away. Each VIP ticket receives one entry in the drawing for a chance to win all of or part of $5,000. Only 600 tickets will be sold!

The net profits from this fundraiser will provide therapeutic, educational, and wellness scholarship funds for local first responders and their families. Each sponsorship level will receive a certain amount of tickets as a gift of appreciation! Tickets are explained below as well as a general tentative itinerary for the evening.
VIP Tickets $125 _ Doors open at 5:30pm, dinner will be served at 6:30pm

VIP Tickets include 2 parts: 1st part for VIP event entrance and 2nd part for the $5,000 GRAND PRIZE drawing.

VIP Event Ticket includes: dinner, 2 adult beverages, dueling pianos & evening festivities

You must bring event your ticket with you to gain entrance to the event.
$5,000 Drawing $50 _ (Do NOT have to be present to win!)

GRAND PRIZE. Drawing starts at 7:45pm and the last round of tickets will be drawn at 10:45pm. Tickets are eliminated as they are drawn until we get to the final 5 tickets. The last 5 individuals will be called up on stage and will determine grand prize winner(s). The final 5 have the option to split or not split the $5,000. Split of grand prize will occur only if ALL remaining individuals agree to split the money. If any of the last 5 are not present the split / no split box on the ticket will determine their vote. Ticket elimination continues until there is agreement to split the Grand Prize or there is a final winner!

If you are unable to attend the event you can mail your ticket for the drawing to HOPE P.O.Box 242, Rochester, IL 62563. Be sure to specify your split or no split option on the ticket.

All winnings will be paid in check and only to the individual whose name is on the ticket.

ANYONE winning a minimum of $600 will be required to provide us with a social security number for the IRS reporting purposes. Federal and state taxes incurred on these winnings are the responsibility of the ticket holder.
